Debi is not only our RN Staff Nurse she is our director. She is the mother of Sami and has a passion to help families, caregivers and the community see the sunshine God created in adults with special needs. 

Haley is one of the founding members of Sami Sunshine and has officially been part of the center for four years, though in many ways she has been part of it her whole life. What she loves most about working here is being able to work alongside her family and the way everyone truly feels like one big family. One of her favorite memories is visiting the zoo with the members, and seeing her sister Sami always makes her day brighter. Outside of work she enjoys gardening, spending time with her dogs, and anything related to the Renaissance. She loves the color grass green, Gushers candy, the Fourth of July, and the Transformers series. 🌞

Arianna has been part of the Sami Sunshine family for two years after being introduced through her friend Destiny. She loves the “sunshine moments” and the kindness she experiences each day, and one of her favorite memories is learning to sign her name in ASL with Shelby. Outside of work, she enjoys baking and cross-stitching, but most of all loves being a mom. 🌞

Another one of Sami's siblings- Trey has been with the center for nearly a year! One of his favorite memories was a trip to Walmart where a member proudly used sign language she had recently learned  to communicate with the cashier, creating a moment he’ll never forget. Outside of work, Trey enjoys golfing and playing video games with his friends. His favorite color is green, he loves anything sour, and his favorite holiday is Christmas.

Nikki loves spending time with the members and seeing all of their growth at Sami Sunshine Center. She was connected to Sami Sunshine through her brother, Jakey Poo! One of her favorite memories is the talent show at the Harvest Festival, and nothing makes her day better than a hug from the members. Outside of work, she enjoys golfing, reading, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her family. Her favorite color is green, she loves kit kats, and ACOTAR!🌞

Alexis loves starting each morning in social, where she enjoys hearing about everyone’s day and connecting with the members. One of her favorite memories at Sami Sunshine was the 2025 zoo trip. Outside of work she enjoys reading, hiking, and going on walks with her dog, and she loves Halloween, Nerds Clusters candy, and the color forest green.🌞

Lacie discovered Sami Sunshine because she already knew Sami from going to school together. She loves experiencing the “sunshine moments” while working with the members. Outside of work she enjoys scrapbooking and spending time with her kids, and she loves the colors red and black, Hershey’s candy, Thanksgiving, and anything Disney. 🌞

Victoria has been part of the Sami Sunshine family for nearly a year and loves connecting with the members and staff, who she says feel like one big family. Her favorite memory so far is the talent show at last year’s Harvest Festival. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, loves Halloween, and her favorite candy is Twin Snakes gummies. 🌞

Chloe loves being around her Sami Sunshine family and values the connections she’s built with the members. She was introduced to Sami Sunshine through Alexis and has been part of the team for almost a year. Outside of work, she enjoys video games, hiking, spending time in nature, reading, and watching sports. Her favorite color is red, she loves cherry Sweet Tart Ropes, and Halloween is her favorite holiday.🌞

Brody has been part of the Sami Sunshine family for about a year and loves getting to see and work alongside his sisters at the center. Outside of work he enjoys hiking, playing and watching sports, and driving around. His favorite color is red, his favorite candy is Snickers, and he loves Christmas and the series Dexter. 

Ciera has been part of the Sami Sunshine family for nearly two years and loves seeing the members reach their goals and watching their hard work pay off. One of her favorite memories is the Harvest Festival and talent show. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and watching her boys do what they love, and she loves lime green, Reese’s, Halloween, Grey’s Anatomy, and The Hunger Games. 🌞

Kylie has been part of the Sami Sunshine family for nearly two years and loves getting to spend time with what she calls “the coolest people.” One of her favorite memories is working with the horses alongside Justin. Outside of work she enjoys skiing, golfing, hiking, and anything outdoors, and she loves sour belt candy and the Fourth of July. 🌞

Marissa, aka Red, found Sami Sunshine through Debi. Her favorite memory is the princess dress-up parties, and the members’ smiles always make her day better. She loves the color red, sour candy, Valentine’s Day, and her favorite book is The Great Gatsby. 🌞

Ciarra loves connecting with the members at Sami Sunshine and helping them feel included in the community. Outside of work she enjoys visiting museums and watching sports like baseball, softball, soccer, and hockey. She loves the color green, Rolos candy, Halloween, and the Twilight series. 🌞

Pam loves seeing everyone smile each day at Sami Sunshine and bringing joy to those around her. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs, gardening, hiking, traveling, and being a bit of a prankster. She loves Easter, vanilla French chews, and stories that offer inspiration, healing, and strength. 🌞

Destiny has been working at Sami Sunshine since April 2024.

Natasha has been part of the Sami Sunshine family for nearly three years. One of her favorite memories is prom and riding the party bus with everyone. She loves morning prayer after social, the colors purple and royal blue, Hershey bars, Easter and Thanksgiving, and the book Don’t Stop Praying by Matthew West. 🌞
